Detectives with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department are leading the investigation, but the FBI has opened up its sprawling resources to supplement the local cops, sources told The Post.

Federal forensics specialists are helping to analyze the purported ransom letters and follow tips outside Tucson, while the bureau has been poring over cellular tower data to see who passed through Nancy’s neighborhood on and around the night she vanished.

Warrants to search Nancy’s digital accounts — which could help track her movements — are also being expedited by the FBI, while its agents have been deployed to circumvent Arizona jurisdictional restrictions and follow up in-person leads, sources said.

The federal aid comes as President Trump personally affirmed he would provide whatever resources he could to help with the investigation while speaking to reporters in the Oval Office Tuesday.

“I always got along very good with Savannah. Very unusual situation, but we’re going to find out,” said Trump, who has been interviewed by Guthrie in the past.“I’m going to call her later on. I think it’s a terrible thing,” he said.Arizona law enforcement have been tight-lipped about who might be behind Nancy’s abduction. There are no suspects, cops said Wednesday.

“It could be one, it could’ve been more, I don’t know,” Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said of possible kidnappers in a  CBS News interview Tuesday

But footage from NewsNation has emerged showing blood on her front doorstep, corroborating what law enforcement sources previously told The Post about the scene. There were also signs of forced entry, while items like Nancy’s phone, keys and ID were left behind, sources said.

Nancy was of sound mind when she was dropped off by her son-in-law Saturday around 9:30 p.m., but police explained she had limited mobility and a medical condition that required medication every 24 hours that she could die without. And she is quickly approaching 96 hours without it if she is not located by Wednesday night.

In a development that has stunned observers and dramatically shifted the trajectory of an already high-profile investigation, authorities confirmed late this evening that detectives executed coordinated actions involving a vehicle reportedly connected to the inner circle of Savannah Guthrie and secured a residence in Arizona described by officials as “family-linked.” While investigators have not publicly alleged wrongdoing by any specific individual, the decisive nature of the operation has transformed what had been characterized as a missing-person search into what one senior law enforcement source called “a razor-edged reckoning.”

According to preliminary statements provided by authorities, the impounded vehicle became a focal point after newly surfaced evidence prompted detectives to reassess earlier working theories. “The mood shifted quickly,” one investigator said under condition of anonymity. “When the circle tightens like this, it’s because the evidence forces you there.” Officials declined to elaborate on the precise nature of that evidence, citing the integrity of the ongoing investigation, but confirmed that forensic teams were deployed immediately.

Neighbors in the Arizona community reported a visible and highly organized law enforcement presence. Patrol units established a perimeter around the residence shortly after sunset, and investigators were seen entering and exiting the property with sealed containers. Law enforcement spokespersons stressed that sealing off a location is a standard procedural measure when potential evidentiary material may be present. “This step does not imply guilt,” the spokesperson emphasized. “It reflects the seriousness with which we treat every credible lead.”

The case, which began as a missing-person inquiry, had previously centered on timelines, digital communications, and witness accounts. For weeks, authorities pursued external leads, focusing on travel records and surveillance footage in multiple jurisdictions. However, officials now confirm that a convergence of forensic data and corroborating statements required a pivot inward. “Investigations evolve,” a senior source stated. “We go where the evidence takes us. Today, it took us somewhere we could not ignore.”

Legal analysts caution against drawing premature conclusions from tactical moves such as impoundments or search warrants. Such actions are investigative tools designed to preserve potential evidence while facts are verified. “It’s important for the public to understand that sealing a property or collecting a vehicle is not equivalent to charging someone,” one former prosecutor explained. “It means investigators believe the location or item may contain information relevant to the case.”

Representatives associated with Savannah Guthrie have not released a detailed statement but indicated that they are cooperating fully with authorities. No arrests have been announced. Law enforcement reiterated that the presumption of innocence applies to all parties and urged the public to refrain from speculation.
